Skyline School Donates $1,000 to Hurricane Helene Disaster Relief Fund

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, Skyline School has donated $1,000 to the disaster relief efforts to aid in the region's recovery.

We understand the tremendous impact that this disaster has had on families, businesses, and entire communities. Our hearts go out to those affected, and we are committed to supporting the recovery process in any way we can. We encourage others to join us in this vital effort by donating to reputable organizations that are providing immediate relief and long-term recovery assistance.


Several organizations are actively involved in the disaster relief efforts, and there are multiple ways the public can contribute:


North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund: Governor Roy Cooper has encouraged donations to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund to help communities recover. Donations go directly to nonprofits providing food, water, cleaning supplies, and other emergency assistance.

To donate:

  • Visit nc.gov/donate

  • Mail checks to: NC Disaster Relief Fund, 20312 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-0312. Or: NC Disaster Relief Fund, c/o United Way of NC, 1130 Kildaire Farm Road, Suite 100, Cary, NC 27511


United Way of North Carolina is the fiscal agent for the NC Disaster Relief Fund and will work with eligible nonprofits to distribute grants and reimbursements of up to $10,000 for storm recovery efforts. Donations to the NC Disaster Relief Fund are tax deductible as allowed by law.

  • Send checks payable to REALTORS® Relief Foundation, 430 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611 (Include "RRF Contribution" in the memo)
